how do i buy from a friend's registry? |

ACCESSING YOUR FRIEND'S GIFT LIST:
1. From our Search for a friend's registry page, you can enter the LAST name only of the registrant (either registrant's last name will work if its a couple) and press GO in the "Search For a Registry" box, or go directly to the registrant's list using the URL given to you by the registrant.
MAKING PURCHASES FROM THE GIFT LIST:
2. You will be directed to the gift list for the registrant. Browse the gift items available for purchase (those showing positive number in the "Quantity Remaining" column are still available for purchase.) You can sort the gift items for viewing by price or by category. Once you have decided on your purchase, enter the quantity in the "Quantity to Buy" box for that gift item, or a dollar amount in the "Partial Contribution" column. (see below)
3. Partial Contribution Feature. For all gifts listed over $2,000, you will have the option to buy the whole gift by entering "1" in the "Quantity to Buy" column, or you may enter any dollar amount of contribution towards this gift in the "Partial Contribution" column.
4. When you have finalized your purchase selection from the gift list, scroll down to the bottom of the page and "Proceed to Checkout."
5. You will be directed to a gift checkout page, where you'll need to enter you personal details and select your payment method:
?pay by cheque in HKD
?direct bank transfer
?online credit card payment by visa or mastercard
?credit card payment by fax form
You'll also have the option to include a gift card with your gift. The gift card will be printed out on Double Happiness gift cards and sent along with the gift.
Click on "Go to Payment" when you have finished entering these details.
6. You'll be taken to a payment page which will give you :
?details for the payment option you have selected, or taken to the Worldpay website for online processing of your credit card if that is the selection chosen.
?and a log in ID and password. Please note down the log in ID and password should you wish to check on your order status at a later date.
CONFIRMATION EMAILS:
You will receive an email from Double Happiness or Worldpay to confirm that your payment has been received and processed.
Your purchase will then be ordered from the merchant and delivered to the guest along with your gift card if any, close to their event date. You will receive an email once the gift has been delivered to the registrants.
